I’ll Take Kristen Dunst Movies that Don’t Suck for $200 Alex

May 14th, 2007 · No Comments

I happened to catch “Bring it On” on cable a few days ago, and I have to say, that movie was actually really good. Not quite top ten movie of the year good, but still very, very good.

Who would have thought, right? A Kristen Dunst movie about competitive cheerleading that doesn’t suck.

What “Bring it On” shows is that teen movies don’t have to be as bad as they generally are. They can have realistic dialogue, believable interactions and a non-obvious storyline. And even if they have all that, they may still make money! “Bring it On” earned almost $70 million, seven years ago, and is still one of the more successful movies of it’s genre.

More movies like this, please.
