German director Uwe Boll, the master behind such classics as After Dark and Blood Rayne, has issued a press release:
Boll said, "I wanted to make a statement with Seed. At the beginning of the film, I used extreme animal abuse footage that was given to us by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). I wanted to show the world how messed up humans are as a species.
You know what shows how messed up humans are as a species? The fact that Uwe Boll keeps being allowed to make movies.
But anyway, good for Boll. Just because you are one of the worst working directors in the world it doesn't mean you can't have a social conscience.
