- Tobey Maguire has optioned the real life story of Gerald Fraller, who is selling his soul online. Isn't that a Simpsons episode? Didn't it end badly? Also, how is that a movie?
- Black Sheep, the mutant carnivore sheep in New Zealand movie, gets a nice little review in Variety. The film will open in New Zealand theaters in march, but should go straight to DVD in most other places. Bummer.
- Film ick helpfully turn a New York Times story about Grindhouse into a few bullet points. The most interesting bit for me is that the whole movie will be about three hours long, with both the Tarantino segment and the Rodriguez segment clocking at about an hour and a half. That's, uh, long.
